ALL IZZ WELL For AMU Kishanganj!

All seems well now for the proposed Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) campus in Kishanganj, Bihar. Thanks to Nitish Kumar led Bihar Government and district administrator of Kishanganj for taking necessary action to save the offered 224.02 acres land from illegal encroachment and trespassing. Smelling the possibilities of encroachment by tribals and anti-social elements the District Administration has planted a Warning Board on the upcoming campus of Aligarh Muslim University in Kishanganj.

It should be noted just after the approval of Bihar Cabinet Ministers to approve 224.02 acres contiguous land free of cost to AMU and positive signal from AMU VC, the tribals had tried to encroach the land. However, the District Administration and local villagers of Chakla took prompt action against the encroachers and they could not do any unlawful act. Soon after that the visit of AMU Inspecting Team headed by Deputy Registrar on December 18-19, 2011 to the proposed site was very successful, and they were warmly welcomed by District Administration, local politicians and common people.

Hence, with the timely anticipation of Bihar Government we can now surely expect a smooth road ahead for AMU Centre in Kishanganj. As per authentic sources the Government has released 3.70 crores for fencing of the 224.02 acres site to avoid any type of encroachment or misuse of the land offered to Aligarh Muslim University. On behalf of people of Kishanganj, Seemanchal and whole Bihar, I would like to thank Bihar Government for providing proper attention to AMU Study Centre in Kishanganj. Now its sure the AMU Centre Kishanganj will get a shape soon on the offered land.
